Membership Registration

Are you new to the community? Or are you a “home grown” young adult who is ready to get more involved with your Church? If you are age 18 or over, we invite you to register as an adult member of your parish. Parishioners have a right to the sacramental ministry of the parish, including marriage, having children receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation), and also funeral or memorial services. They are remembered in the daily prayers for the people and the benefactors of the church. They are included in all spiritual and educational events at the parish. They have the opportunity to participate in the ministry at the parish. Are you ready? We invite you to register!

How to learn about the Catholic Church and/or consider joining us:

The first step is to ask Catholic friends and neighbors about their parish. Visit some near your home. You are welcome to join in Sunday Mass and talk with other parishioners and the parish priests about becoming Catholic. You can also make an appointment to see the priest or parish staff members during the week. If you are not baptized, that is ok. You can inquire all you want. Seeking information about the Catholic faith will not commit or oblige you to become Catholic. We encourage you to learn as much about the faith and take as much time as you need to make this decision. While we love the Catholic faith, and hope that you will also come to love it, we will not pressure anyone to make such an important decision. If you do decide that you want to become Catholic, we will welcome you to participate in a process for initiation into the faith called the Rite of Christian Initiation, or RCIA. This process gives you the opportunity to get to know Catholics and to participate in the life of the parish through prayer, service to others, and study of the faith. It helps to prepare you, over a period of months, to become a Catholic Christian by eventually celebrating the sacraments of Christian initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion. If you have been baptized in another Christian Church, that is ok also. The Catholic Church acknowledges your baptism and the initiation process will prepare you to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church by celebrating the sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Communion.
